Do you guys remember the DCUM poster who was horrified to see her housecleaner using the toilet as a mop-bucket before she mopped the floor in her bathroom.

Ha ha! This is common practice in hotels. This is what they are trained to do. It saves on time and laundry etc. And they do it with the dirty towels on the floor.

Me too. I worked for Marriott. I know that they are cleaning the coffee carafes with the same used washcloth that you threw on the shower floor. After they use it to clean the toilets, the sinks, the drinking tumblers and cups... they do not have the time or supplies to clean with a differentiated microfiber.

One of the reasons that I get my home cleaned under my supervision and using my own tools and supplies.

Yes!! I recall doing a tour in the Bahamas where you go underwater in a "submarine" type thing to see all the pretty fish. OMGoodness!!! It was the most disgusting experience I ever had. There was fish crap all over the windows of the sub and as I'm trying to see the beauty with these fish all I can see is poop hanging out of their butts!! All of them!!! I do not go in ocean, river, lake water. They are huge mud puddles and toilets all in one!
