I was just going to post this! How on earth did she walk? Why, Amy, why??
She was channeling her inner fins. lol.
So dumb.

I think she looks stunning.
Actresses should look like they stepped off a runway…not like they bought ready to wear from Bloomies.
Stepped off a runway?? Parker Posey looks like she made her dress out of curtains a la Gone With the Wind.
It’s custom Rodarte and fashion commentators are raving about it.
Goes to show you that the fashion commentators have poor taste.
I guess you missed the lecture in Devil Wears Prada, pp? Our opinions on fashion are relatively meaningless. There’s an entire industry of professionals who are qualified to say what is and isn’t good.
Fwiw, the pros are saying the custom silk Rodarte gown and how it was styled brought much needed drama to the fashion for the evening. It was meant to be costumey and over the top, and only someone as fashion-forward as Parker Posey could pull it off.
DP. It's truly annoying how you continue to lecture others regarding what "is" and "is not" fashionable. We're all entitled to our own opinions. "Fashion professionals" speak only for themselves. You sound like a complete sheep, taking whatever they have to say as gospel.
Parker Posey looked campy and absurd, just like she did at last year's Emmys:
If you only know Parker Posey from White Lotus, then it’s not your fault that you weren’t aware of her Indie Queen/90s NY it girl status.
Nobody expects her to show up in a ready to wear gown. She has always had a bold fashion sense and the industry loves her for it.
Anyway, the dress obviously isn’t the typical 2026 awards gown. But that’s the point. It’s meant to be a work of art and dramatic design statement.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we see copycats using the design for wedding gowns. And more broadly, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a return to big fashion.

Can we add Leo to the obviously on Ozempic list?

Now THIS is classically elegant. I so wish Jennifer Garner has worn something like this instead.

She is not. She looks like she had work done recently on her face and may be on Ozempic.

She looks amazing. But the dress is so boring. Like a $250 dress from Nordstrom or Bloomingdales.
I agree, but it is very "on brand." Jenns whole thing is like she is a boring suburban mom and this looks like something a tired housewife could pull off the closet floor and be "acceptable."
Nah, it says she knows how to dress her age
Look at the clip on her Insta. The dress did not photograph well. It was stunning in movement, with the beaded tiers swinging. Incredible really.
