Nothing up-is it normal that McPS posts these scores in batches?

Thanks!

I've got a kid who is good at Photoshop/Canva that can edit those names and numbers for ya.

Nothing for my kids yet but glad at least some of you are getting the scores, even if they’re months late

Lucky. Still no MAP report for my middle schooler.

Our teachers definitely have them.

Yes, as discussed upthread teachers have them-they also have the national norms because those are available. But they don't have the benchmarks against the region, and the printout I received at my PT conference was hard to interpret relative to the normal format they typically post on ParentVue in October after fall testing.

I mean, the MCPS averages are usually not very different than the national ones in my experience, maybe a few points off at most? Does that differ at higher grade levels?

And I actually liked the printout I got at our conference better than the usual one! It had more detail (including the specific numerical scores for subcategories rather than the Avg/HiAvg/Hi they usually give), and a neat chart showing the scores over time and where they fell as far as average/above average/etc. Is that the one you mean, or was it something different?

"A few points off" is a big difference, particularly for high scoring kids who want to see how they compare, for example, those applying to magnets in 8th grade.

The printout I got at my ES kid's PT conference lacked the benchmarks, so i didn't find it useful. I didn't see subcategory numerical scores either--perhaps your school prints out the scores differently.

Sounds like one of the other MAP reports. Like the strands or family report.

Is there a testing office at MCPS? I went through the directory and couldn't figure out who manages this MAP stuff. Happy to write the person in charge and report back to DCUM if someone gives me a name.

It might be these guys? https://ww2.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/directory/directory_Boxoffice.aspx?processlevel=62501

Yes. Email the new supervisor: Laura_Marion@mcpsmd.org

If you want to email and ask when scores will be posted on Parentvue. ^^
