THIS government? The one taking away Medicaid, teargassing civilians and local police, dragging people out of cars and homes without a warrant, and -- critically -- refusing to release the Epstein files?
You think the right thing to do is to keep doing that without using the only possible means to change it?
Republicans could not shut down the government if they would actually run it as a government for the people, by the people, of the people.
These have nothing to do with continuing the prior agreed funding levels to reopen the government. Separate issues.
Except that they do.
WHy are the Democrats not signing it? What are they asking for to be added or changed?
Democrats are not changing anything in the CR ruling; they are talking about random additional special interest projects to try to force them through. Americans see right through it; it's like arguing that you shouldn't have to pay your restaurant bill because you disagree with their corporate policies, which don't provide free health insurance for the restaurant workers.

Which is so blatantly untrue. what is true? Is that Democrats want to preserve and protect the healthcare for Americans.
Boy, are you gullible.
Why? What in that statement is untrue?

MAGA buying into Fox “news”propaganda. Sad part for you is that you’re shooting yourself in your foot. You care more about “owning the libs” than your own well being.

Is there really such a thing as "Democrats" and "Republicans" in Congress? Their titles should include the names of their mega-donating entities who are pulling their strings because we know these RINOs and DINOs don't give a damn about the regular folks they are elected to represent.
Only one party is tear-gassing local police and dragging people out of their homes without a warrant.
I think we can all agree that nothing tops the Trump era GOP as far as awfulness in politics is concerned. I think we can all also agree that we have a very big problem with money and corruption within our two major political parties that we'll likely be dealing with long after Trump is dead.
