Your brother-in-law is correct. My aunt is an emergency room nurse practitioner, and her husband is an electrical engineer in data center management. Their degrees are from NYIT and a SUNY that no one on this forum has heard of. They make $400k a year combined and constantly flex their material posessions and expensive vacations.

Can’t speak to LPNs or RNs but BSNs and NPs are required to complete in person clinicals. And they all have to pass their respective certification exams.

Absolutely true for nursing. You can get an RN or an NP degree by attending a mostly online program. Frankly, its bit scary to me.
