Random questions but how did his hand not get burned throwing it back? And is it really assault if no one got hurt when he threw it back (the witness statement from the officer states it went over their heads)?

It is around 2:35. He tries to kick it out of the way, misses then throws it, then gets pushed pretty hard to the ground. Can't they call it even?

However, in the long-term as this goes on Trump’s support on his signature issue declines. So it’s almost as if for the good of the country they should keep pushing this. That’s selfish on my part because I’d like to return to an age of sanity in the United States..

Rep. Salud Carbajal was part of a violent mob of protestors attempting to obstruct federal law enforcement as they executed a criminal search warrant at a marijuana facility. He cites “peaceful” protestors, when in fact these rioters were launching rocks at officers, injuring at least one ICE employee who was left bloody.
According to agents on the ground, the congressman doxed that same ICE employee by sharing his business card with members of the violent mob.
THIS is precisely the rhetoric that has led to orchestrated attempts to murder officers and a 700% increase in officer assaults.
May the congressman’s constituency always remember he chooses violence over the rule of law.

How is that not self defense?
What was he supposed to do?
Sit on it or throw it into the crowd?

Nope. He needs to be charged. Just because nobody was hurt by his actions doesn't mean he didn't commit assault.
If you interfere with the operations of law enforcement, you will be held accountable. This guy did just that.
Why am I not shocked by his appearance? Hopefully no one stole his e-bike while he was in jail.
For the neophytes, assault is the wrongful act of causing someone to reasonably FEAR imminent harm.
Battery is the intentional and harmful or offensive touching of another person without consent.
If throwing a gas canister is assault, why is it okay for the police to continuously assault citizens during a peaceful protest?

Then they will pass on the enforcement.
Anyone who slips through, they will not deport.
That’s very silly. Biden had a plan, Trump killed it through his sycophants. Now we are stuck with this kindergarten version 1939 Germany.
Trump and Biden's kick 'em all out, let 'em all in, kick 'em all out plans are an embarrassment to this civilized first world country and this is a primary reason why most experts consider them the worst two presidents ever. Do better people.
Oh come on, Trump is the worst, but Biden will be 60th percentile, at worst.
You are exhausting with your relentless habit of lumping Biden and Trump together. Biden may have had his faults, but was more than qualified to be president while Trump just pretendsto play one on TV. It’s apples and oranges.
No one in their right mind is equating Biden with Trump. Biden will go down as the second worst or one of the worst presidents we've ever had but Trump is on an island by himself as far as worst POTUS ever is concerned. Needless to say, neither should have ever been handed the keys to The White House.
Sorry for hurting your feelings. Geeesh

Totally disagree. Trump has accomplished far more during his first 6 months than most presidents accomplish during their full term. I think he has done a fabulous job.
