90% of the people I know under the age of 35 despise our current political landscape thanks mostly to our elderly two most recent presidents. Younger people haven't been around long enough to have blind loyalties to political parties like many of us older folks have. Anyone viewing the 2020 and 2024 elections through an objective lens using common sense can easily determine how Trump and Biden had absolutely no business being elected most powerful person on the planet at their elderly ages.
Without those blind political loyalties in place, it's easy to see why younger folks have become disgusted with our current political landscape ruled by two toxic entities who no longer work to the benefit of the American people. There are times when us older folks can benefit from listening to the younger folks.

These people are dealing with high School, college and grad school, recent graduates seeking employment or recently employed. He's doing nothing to help these groups. He has no respect for them and I think they are returning the lack of respect.
Trump is helping these people, just not with coddling and handouts.
Their lack of respect is due to their lack of a father figure in the home. GenZ is the Divorced Parents Generation. They need a daddy. Trump is that daddy.
They're going to have to pay back the huge debt he just put on the country.
No, they are going to have to pay back huge student loan debt incurred to obtain degrees with no marketable skills. See Charlie Kirk on that.
He is damaging the economy just when they need to enter into it and get jobs.
Trump’s tariffs have put billions into the government treasury. It will take dome time for the American economy to bring offshore jobs back home. Short term pain, long term gain.
He pretends the climate change doesn't exist.
Trump knows the climate has changed numerous times before humans were in any great numbers.
One of Trump’s pet peeves is whining. Climate whiners have ticked off Trump, as well as a large number of Americans, who have had enough of these Chicken Little Climate Whiners, the majority of whom are Democrats.
The sky is not falling. Americans are enraged at being blamed for Global Warming/Climate Doom.
See also Charlie Kirk on this matter.
He's trashing education, trashing the department of education, beating on colleges and universities.... These are the things that are right now important to this age group and he's smacking them around.
Universities have largely become a scam, peddling worthless degrees which do not equip a person with marketable skills to earn a living.
Again, see Charlie Kirk.
They now enjoy less rights than their parents, did not more, thanks to his scotus picks and he brags about that.
Let me get the fainting couch for you. Pushing back against Leftist bs is not taking away rights.
He is harassing and deporting family members of their friends and family
Because previous administrations did not have the guts to enforce our immigration laws, Trump has had to step in and put the Fear of God into these lawless infiltrators.
Break out immigration laws? Trump is kicking your ass out of our country. This is why Trump was elected but all milquetoast Democrats can do is call him a meanie for enforcing the law.
“One of Trump’s pet peeves is whining” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Trump does nothing BUT whine. His tweets are all-caps lists of grievances and enemies. His speeches are rambling complaints. Everything is unfair, everything is rigged, people are out to get him. Nobody is a bigger victim than Trump. He’s the ultimate snowflake.
Re: university degrees being worthless, that’s a right wing talking point aimed at getting young conservatives to accept downward mobility and limited education (which keeps them voting for Trump). You’ll notice these lavishly-paid pundits mostly went to elite institutions and send their own kids there. They don’t walk the walk.
As for Trump being Gen Z’s “daddy”, gross. Get some therapy.

There’s something a little Mafia-esque about promoting Gen Z men as THE most important bloc of voters that Democrats must cater to if they ever want to win an election again. It’s like they’re demanding protection money. If you don’t flatter them enough, in revenge they’ll take their votes over to the side that hates those who (they think) rejected them. “Nice democracy there. Be a shame if something were to happen to it.” Why aren’t Gen Z women being talked about as a crucial voting demographic? Or suburban soccer moms?
If someone’s vote is that much up for grabs, and they can’t distinguish between reckoning with our past history as a society and feeling personally attacked, the Democratic party was never going to be their home anyway.
Talk about identity politics. Whatever happened to “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”?

Most of the people watching CNN are the same people who watch FOX News, flipping over to “hate watch” CNN. No one under 60 regularly watches cable news.
As long as you realize how out of touch LWNJs sound when they accuse someone of getting their talking points from Fox News. Which happens about every hour here on DCUM.![]()

Say this to a group of 20 Gen Z’ers, I’d most likely assume 14-16 of them would disagree.
Well, they're certainly not going to publicly admit this - and in front of one another! The horror, the shame! Gen Z places virtue signaling above all else and would never in a million years admit openly that they love/like/support Trump.
