Certainly there are disagreements but are resolved peacefully by abiding by the rule of law.
Most of the wackos are in the Democratic party (who refuse to define the word woman) which is why they lost the presidency, House, and Senate.
The Democratic party is the political party that wants to take away guns not because they care about children (their pro-abortion stance proves this) but because they are cowards and fear citizens will blast them out of office by force when they try to become the next Hitler or Stalin, both of whom were Leftist socialists, one National, one Globalist.

No, new poster, but as I told my Dh, an immigrant, I do not want to be the Nazi neighbor in history. We are slowly being put in that position with these taking of people Willy Billy off the streets and more to happen daily. Make noise, stand up, while we still can say something.

I'm an upper middle class white female, and yes, my personal reality has "actually changed."
First, I lost my job, due to The Felon's budget cuts.
Next, my best friend who loves politics is profoundly depressed due to the antics of The Felon and his fascist supporters.
Third, my husband, who is from another country, is now talking about returning to that country.
Fourth, I got another job, where everyone is on edge because of The Felon's actions. No one knows what's coming.
Fifth, things are getting more expensive every day. I can't afford casual evenings out because restaurant prices have skyrocketed, but my salary has not.
That's it for the moment. There's more, but it's too depressing to talk about. Suffice to say, yes, the world here grows darker daily.

There is no pleasure living in the US due to politics, standards of living, how expenses it is, the lack of real freedoms, half of the country engulfed by the maga cult even when facts stare them in the face, a broken and cruel SCOTUS who insists on unlimited executive power that has sealed our fates as a country, AI taking over, and tech bros being clearly in charge, our way of life being dismantled, education on its knees…there is no amount of praying that will ever see us through, it’s over for all of us. It’s too late.
Well then leave!

And you guys didn’t complain at all, right?
There weren’t daily meltdowns like we have again this time. It’s comical to watch. And enlightening the level of privilege on display thinking the US is coming to an end and it’s the end of days.
It's absolutely pathetic and comedy. I come on DCUM just to chuckle at the latest unhinged blogpost and threads.

beside the point. The fact is America isn't what it used to be. And we can be sad about that.

All time high? Good. I hope I get back the tens of thousands of dollars that disappeared from my retirement account when Trump first announced his stupid tariffs.
