That cable that came out last week eliminating interview waiver option for such a large chunk of applicants is pretty wild. I truly think the plan- if there is one- is to turn everyone into consular officers. Not sure how posts will manage otherwise.

Every country has a Getty heck even the spear chuckers of Levant have landholdings and collect rental income.
Not every country is run properly. And in some places periodically there are killing sprees, mass rape or mutilation. Sometimes there is land grab or resource appropriation/expropriation. Whose problem is it really?

None , because the educated people from Mexico would interact with the educated people from Herndon , and most of the resources wills be siphoned off by the educated people of Herndon

State is a relic from a past gone era . It should be cut in half this year and do another 50% cuts next year.


There are rich people in poor countries. Much richer than the average dual income federal family since a whole country’s resources are siphoned off at the highest levels. Like a tribal or feudal version of Softbank and similar, Samsung etc. Now if they have holdings exporting to America they have a problem.

Let them solve their own problems.
