The President did it at the request of the Governor. The Rodney King riots were like 100x bigger than any of the limited rioting we’ve seen associated with the ICE protests.

What a total waste of time for our Marine corps. We pay our taxes to have a fighting force like the Marines and insult them by assigning guard duty in Los Angeles against some twerps throwing rocks and some home Depot workers? It's embarrassing demoralizing and also dangerous.
The Marines aren’t exactly busy these days.
Marines did not sign up to go out and terrorize Americans. They signed up to protect this country.
Way to take the few and the proud and likely make them even fewer and unproud.
How the hell is protecting federal buildings “terrorizing” anyone? When you have to greatly distort reality to make your point, it’s better to just shut the F up.
What are they protecting the building from?
