Yeah. I guess breaking apart little chunks here and there reduces our ability to have a voice in all this. It’s just sad to see it when it will obviously cause major disruption in kids’ lives being split apart from kids they’ve gone to school with since they were five. And to what end? Will these little broken off neighborhoods really help anything?
This makes options 2 and 4 the worst. Please preserve continuity for these small neighborhoods. It’s heartbroken to be the only few gets split to different HS schools
Agreed!
They aren’t going to appease everyone so option 1 seems the best and will lead to the best outcome - less split articulations, less bussing long distances, preserving neighborhoods going close to nearby schools, etc.

Are we looking at different data set? For all 4 options, Churchill Asian decrease from 37% to34.7% and farm from 9.9% to 9.8%.

Some of your numbers are mixed up. But all four options either maintain or increase Asian/white % in Churchill and Wootton so really no big difference

One thing to notice is that these expensive houses are nearly unimpacted while the relatively poorer neighborhoods get rezoned out of Wootton.

And they make massive changes to Dufief while making more minor ones to the surrounding Travilah and Stone Mill. It’s been this boundary for decades, plus frost ms and Wootton hs is currently undercapacity and undercrowded. They should move the travailah to qo

Dufief is already bused farther away to Wootton and Frost. Many parts of Dufief are within walking/biking distance to QO. Not sure what you mean by "bus them all over". I think we get it, you don't want you children going to school with poor people.
Sounds like you are stuck on option 1 and not paying attention to the rest of them and all of the split articulation that goes along with the other options. That is terrible for kid’s mental health. And no, QO is not a school with poor people in my opinion. However, I did pay a premium to buy in a certain district, based on historical zoning, and I won’t act like that doesn’t matter.
It also could affect property values.
