Did your kid not get in or something? Top flagships like UGA and UVA don’t focus on engineering because GA and VA have GT and VT for STEM.
UGA not the highest ranked public university in its own state. That would be Georgia Tech. So, quite different than your UVA Virginia Tech comparison.
