i don't believe in his approach at the moment but I will give him time to refine his execution. I did not and still do not have faith in what kamala would have done, and that would have been zero progress in reducing crime in blue cities like san francisco, DC, NYC, continued high inflation, and an absurd national debt expansion. She was and remains not qualified. She was never qualified for Attorney General of California either. And neither is Pam Bondi for National AG. I only wish the democrats came up with a quality candidate.
I don’t think you are in touch with facts. Crime went down in all of those cities while Biden was president after increasing during Trump’s presidency.

Again you go on with this projective crap. Yes, I along with many who voted for trump are real people with raitonal thought and a well educated background. What did I think was going to happen? Elon and Doge were supposed to make recommendations akin to an advisory commission for further evaluation. Not go in and execute cuts on day 1 haphazardly.

trump's policies are not reducing inflation. they are increasing it with higher tariffs. they are reducing job prospects for our kids by cutting or freezing university funding and grants for research. and our 529s and savings will be decimated.

Trump hasn’t once mentioned anything to bring down inflation other than the weakest EO on the planet.
In fact, he specifically mentioned policies like tariffs that would increase inflation.

The proposed shortfall will be hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars.
Universities have endowments, but those monies generally are not general fund, but rather earmarked to support specific programs in an ongoing basis, or specific "faculty chairs" or specific aid programs. The caretakers of the endowments cannot just reprogram the money against the donors wishes to cover something like this. That said, even if they could, they would run through those endowed funds in a couple of years, leaving the university without its endowment.
