-focus on military, securing our nation
-focus on a strong immigration plan
-course correct everything T is doing. How will you fix federal funding? How will you protect our elderly? How will you help our college age kids? This is your largest base of voters.
-Get a Tim Walz type in. We need someone who has lived on a teachers salary. Limousine Liberals were the reason I hated democrats for so long. I was struggling financially and then someone making $1mil a year was trying to raise my taxes and just didn’t get my struggle.
-childcare: if you can make raising kids more affordable, you might be able to win some red state voters. You have to shape this in a way that doesn’t hurt kid free people.
Tim Walz is finished.
Who cares? MAGA are the dumbest people around. Who cares if they heckle Walz or anyone, for that matter?! I guess we should be happy they can say more than a three word chant. Their opinion means nothing. They’ve lost all credibility. At one point, they might get a clue and STFU. Nobody cares about MAGA.
Cult members that somehow got duped into believing that they are “independent thinkers.”

I am not hearing enough on the news about the destruction Elon Musk is doing to the government and how it affects the American people. Dems need to pushing this in the news cycle over and over again until people can regurgitate the talking points in their sleep. Their social security, Medicare, and other benefits can be gone in a click of a button… by someone who doesn’t even have a security clearance.

There are no lawsuits before a friendly judge who will issue a nationwide injunction. The party wants this issue gone, but are not sending the message out.

Become the party of the working class again.

Anonymous wrote:I am beyond enraged at the inaction of the Democratic Party. It's not even been 2 weeks and the Dems in the Senate are caving to nominations and witnessing the dismantling of our government and acting like it's a normal day with "tough" questioning and finger wagging. Bipartisanship ended when we all saw a Sieg Heil performed from behind the presidential seal of the United States and the governing party defended it. Now we have a Neo Nazi private citizen forcing resignations, harassing federal staffers, locking them out of databases and trying to access the governments payment systems. It is an absolute emergency, yet I have not seen one statement by the Dem leadership about this. We should be seeing a phalanx of lawmakers every single day outside the Capitol in front of microphones screaming about this hostile takeover of our government. Where are they? Too busy texting us for money for 'fight funds".

They are so tone deaf. All the crazy policies that made zero sense didn't work. We MUST appeal to common sense.
ZERO chance Dems retake the Senate next cycle. Look at the map and retirements. Dems have a slim chance for the House. It is clear things will be put in place to make the battle to get the house an uphill battle. The only shot is 4 years from now.
This is just a perfect picture of what is wrong with the world and why we are completely screwed.
Racism and sexism is exactly why Kamala lost, and the racists and sexists loudly proclaim "calling us racists and sexists racist and sexist only makes us want to be more racist and sexist!"
So our choices are placate the racists and sexists (and by doing so give up any chance to improve racism and sexism) or let the racists and sexists run the asylum.
Oh look it's literally what I just described...
I should clarify. I'm a black woman. I will be voting for Vance if he runs in 2028 if the Democrats keep up this delusion. Also, Kamala couldn't form a coherent sentence. To deny that is to deny reality
Say what you will about Harris but she was a HELL of a lot more coherent than Trump.
But I agree, Democrats need to significantly dial back on identity politics and redirect their primary attention to the kitchen-table issues - affordable, healthy groceries, safe and affordable medicines, being able to afford an apartment or buy a home and not having wall street jack up real estate prices, good jobs for the working class, improving our school outcomes, having access to good healthcare, getting corporations and the rich to pay their fair share, safety net for Americans who are struggling, dealing with the opiate and meth crisis, a strong economy, strengthening our alliances with other countries and so on.
Identity politics is what cost Democrats the election. Anyone who disagrees with that is seriously out of touch. I have no problem with progressives running in safe, deep blue districts but they CAN NOT be driving the bus on the bigger picture issues, because, though well-intentioned, they've already driven us into the ditch.
The DNC needs to know this and needs to address it.
