Maryland isn’t California and has none of its beauty, top colleges or tech industry.
I actually think Maryland is more beautiful than brown, barren California other than the Yosemite like areas. Where people live in CA is not attractive. Even the coast is not great.

Alas, I'm not wealthy enough and got priced out of the housing market. But, I'd go back in a heartbeat if I became uber wealthy. My parents still live there, and we are going back this summer.
