I didn't love the baby phase either. At 5 yrs old, it got way better for me and I absolutely love having kids. I have two. Pregnancy was the worst for me - super sick, second worse than the first.

I really value the sibling relationship and wanted that for my kids.

Such a different experience with each kid as they are so different.
I have a professional career and I absolutely love my job as mom too!
Getting sad as oldest has a year until college...

I’m one of four. Two of us went to ivies and two of us went to a top tier non Ivy. My mom was very on top of our education.

+ 1. All four of us went to Ivies/ top tier schools. A large family down the street from us had 8 kids. I’m pretty sure every single one of them went to an Ivy and they were phenomenal athletes.

I’ll add I hate these posts that pit large families against small. I think you have to do what is best for you and what you and your spouse can handle. For some it’s multiple kids, and for others it’s one or two. Either is OK!

Correct, you cannot tell them to have more kids. No one should ever have a child to please someone else.
