The idea of renaming, redistricting, and earmarking land based on ethnicity or religion came from the British. They did this with India and Pakistan as well. The Brits as always caused much of the problems around the world and used their own religious divide with the Irish as their perspective when partitioning out other countries.


So the PPP and others elsewhere are incorrect as I suspected that they have been fighting forever. Though now the leadership of the two sides have mutually vowed destruction of the other.
