Violence interruption is the brain fart of a bunch of PhDs with no metrics. Also, how are the violence interrupters supposed to lead fulfilling lives? They are required to stay entrenched in crime and make under $50k annually. They put their lives at risk and risk falling back into the crime. Never forget Davon McNeal, the 11 year old taken out by gang violence at a cook out that his mother, who was a violence interrupter, hosted.
It’s not in fact. It’s a brainchild of an arrested wife beater vying for government contract. There is no evidence or PhDs etc

You know he is 40 and has been in office for 8 years? Not exactly young and had plenty of time to make a difference, his ward has gone to crap as far as death from violence. So yeah . . . about that.

Anonymous wrote:This aint got nothing to do with force. This is about people coming down on others trying to do right in the community. T slip up and done something maybe he wasnt suppose to do. You forget about all the good cause everyone riding him. So what he took some money from a contractor- it wasnt money going to DC anyway. He did not take any money from DC. And what he done dont effect the services still being provided to communities.

Some DC ANC commissioners happily accept free food and drink from establishments in their areas. This is not allowed and is problematic because the ANC can weigh in on sidewalk cafe permits, liquor licenses, hours of operation, etc. It’s probably too petty to be prosecuted but needs to stop nonetheless.
