I hope he does OK. He looked pretty frail last night. Please just pass the torch, Joe.

Funny how the rules never seem to apply to the democrats.
Learn the new rules. The pandemic is over, the CDC recommends treating covid like any other cold now.
The rules changing don’t change the fact that it’s contagious. And many people are dying from it.
If he cared about others he’d be wearing a mask.

The only other thing I can think is this wil be his excuse for withdrawal.
Either why the stupidly is astonishing. Biden should have withdrawn right after the debate and immediately endorsed the idea of a special primarily to reignite interest.
Nah. This was smart to wait.
The democrats needed to know who they were running against.
Biden’s been waiting for Trump to make his VP pick, and he didn’t want to give Trump an advantage. Trump had to make his selection without knowing if the dems were gonna change their ticket.
If Biden does get out, this timing was smart.

Yes, this has been my thought exactly. After the debate Biden was all excited about the increase of small donations but I just kept thinking that these people are never going to see a return of their investment.
I get a tons of text and FB ads begging for money and I think the tone and volume might verge on elder fraud when directed to older voters.
My father in law gave $1000 to Biden. What a waste!

Or they should have been required to mask (or both).. It's a highly transmissable virus, and now they go home to their families. I don't hold it against them--they didn't know they were sick until after--but he knew as he boarded the airplane. What gives?
He was masking in an image from upthread and read the thread. Masking is technically no longer recommended.
Can you explain this? I had Covid this year, and the CDC recommendation was return to work with a mask if testing positive / within a certain time frame. Has that changed? I thought if you have active covid, in the early stages, you wear a mask and avoid people. No?
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Why isn’t he wearing a mask if he has covid?
He should be. But remember Trump tried to give Biden COVID? Before a single American had been vaxxed?
Biden promoted masks for years.
He should wear one
And stay out of sight for 14 days.
That is the worst possible thing for him to do.
He needs to be very visible from now until November.
Stay in the basement for 13 days and then he is the official nominee on Aug 1 (through on-line voting). What brilliant strategy.

He has COVID, not a permanent medical condition. You might have a point if it either kills him or leaves him with serious and lasting long covid health issues.
That IS my point. It certainly will
Anonymous wrote:Could have put on a mask once he got into the confined space of the airplane. Just sayin’
