Those who graduate from Barnard, get a diploma that says Barnard College of Columbia University. But most recruiters know the student profiles are different, and whenever I see a resume that says "Columbia University" on it, I know the student either went to Barnard (if female) or the Columbia School of General Studies, which is also much easier to get into than Columbia College and has students of "non-traditional profiles."
But for the record, yes CC has higher average stats….but there are many BC students with higher stats than CC students who happened to prefer BC.

Fake or no, it’s known as one of the weakest Ivies. That’s fine as long as expectations are realistic. Students who expect a HYPSM level experience or job outcomes are usually disappointed.
One of the weakest Ivies? What are other weakest ivies? Princeton and Penn?
Cornell and Columbia are the weakest Ivies. Throwing a tantrum won't change that.
You're wrong. Here is the ranking based on "academic research performance" and "reputations."
In the 2022–2023 U.S. News & World Report Best Global University Ranking, five Ivies rank in the top 20: Harvard (#1), Columbia (#7), Yale (#11), Penn (#15), and Princeton (#16)—ranks that U.S. News says are based on "indicators that measure their academic research performance and their global and regional reputations."
Look I couldn’t care less whether Cornell or Columbia is a “weaker” Ivy. But citing USNWR reputation score as proof is laughable. It’s purely opinion and is reason #1 out of about 500 why USNWR rankings are not only meaningless but affirmatively harmful. People calling to the rankings that support what they want to believe and eschew the ones that undermine what they want to believe.

+1 Columbia is the weakest based on what metric? It's got a lower acceptance rate than any Ivy other than Harvard and higher average SAT score in 2022 than any other Ivy other than Harvard and Yale.
