deadline to accept TJ is next Friday 4/26, so many will wait to decide at least until after their campus tour open house visit

It should have already started moving on Friday. I think the systems are connected so an acceptance at TJ would trigger an immediate waitlist move for AOS/AET.

with TJ offer in the mix, it works slightly differently.

If student is on AOS or AET waitlist, they remain on waitlist even after they accept TJ offer
If student has accepted AOS or AET offer, and later accepts TJ offer, then FCPS notifies LCPS and their AOS/AET acceptance gets cancelled. Academies calls student's parents to confirm before cancellation.
If student accepted TJ offer, but later moves off of the waitlist and receives an AOS/AET offer, then student would need to notify TJ about backing out of their offer.

If you are accepted into one and waitlisted for the other, accepting the offer does not remove you from the waitlist.
