2010 - NVA and Union will be getting most of the Brave girls from this age group with the best 7 or so moving over to Union. The remaining players will fight for roster spots over at NVA.

2009 - The top 3 2009 players will also be moving over to Union. Once they start practicing with Union it shouldn’t be too long before offer letters are sent out.

2008 - The biggest player movement should happen here. Nearly all of the families are unhappy and openly speak about change. If the top 11 girls move to the Union 08s as expected this should be more than enough to challenge for a top spot in the Mid Atlantic next year.

3 other players on this team have ties to VDA as well.

If your daughter’s coach does not view her as a top 3 player on her current team, then she needs to attend either external ID Sessions or practices. Notice that I mentioned the coach’s perception of where your child is in the pecking order and not yours.

There have been many cases in the last 15 years where the NoVA soccer scene has seen mass player movement between seasons, but this one is shaping up to be the biggest ever.

Not mentioned in the post above are the other players. Not just Brave, but what about the FCV players who are looking at Union? What about the VDA ones? What about the Hidden Gems? Whether people want to admit it or not, verbal offers have already been extended to a few families at ALL clubs. NVA is notorious for this practice

Ultimately Union will be getting the pick of the litter here. Their ability to get out of a bad alliance, acquire GFR, and rescue Brave has been masterful.
