FCV parents are in shock right now. 07s, 08s and 09s are now without a Head Coach. BP will have to cover every GA team until he hires another coach.
Well in reality guys like Terry Foley, Gus, Marvin, Corey & Dave built that program at FCV, but I’ll give you the rest.
Agreed. BP will be exposed unless he hires more top cover.

The only way this fails is if Niko puts his hands in this. He has been a brilliant (and slimy) business man in general with VRSC but slimy is what is needed in youth soccer. Niko is a terrible coach and is a fuse when it comes to anything technical. As long as he lets CC do what he does and does not interfere, this will probably work out in the next 10 years.
Until now, I can honestly say I’ve never heard “brilliant” and Niko used in the same sentence.
You have to respect the VA Revolution prominence- this club was established just years ago. I get that money bought Evergreen but it still takes business acumen to be in this position. Not anyone can just buy a complex, start a club, and actually compete in the market.
i think you misunderstand who started the club and who bought/owns the complex. hint: it is not the same person.

I don't think it's necessarily GA wanting them. It's possibly the clubs wanting in, the question is, knowing how poorly performing and new VRSC is, would they even have a shot?
SYC, if the rumor is true about pulling out of the VA Union deal, could be strong enough to compete.
Poorly performing? My son is at VRSC and they had a winning season. Boys side has some very strong teams. Not sure about the girls.
Speaking about GA so it's primarily aimed towards the girls program. On the flip side, regardless of the boys performance you have to keep a perspective about it considering the leagues and divisions that VRSC participates in. They're not likely playing clubs 1st teams coming into it as VRSC's 1st team.
"primarily aimed towards the girls program"? You do understand that it is a girls program only. The boys program is MLS next. Also, i don't think anyone believes that VRSC can go to GA with their current teams. They need girls. I doubt FCV will go anywhere. They've been around for a long time and have success getting girls recruited. NVA is only good because other girls decided to play for them. I would wonder how many girls on the 2007 team were there at u11. But that's how all of nova is with their teams. You don't win, move to another club.
