Why are your expectations so low? DC has provided many opportunities for youth to lift themselves up. I work in PG county with low income students of color and they are working, going to school, utilizing the resources available to them. They aren't carjacking people or stealing from stores. Let's be real, taking someone else's car for a joyride has nothing to do with survival. These kids know better and should do better.
