What do you all think will happen when a dictator takes over?
Defunding the police and abortion will be the least of our worries.
Installing a dictator makes us North Korea or Russia.
It boggles the mind that Americans vote for republicans who are going to install a dictator.
That alone should scare the crap out of all of us.
The fact Americans do not get this is incredible
I don't understand it either pp. I'm voting the the party that wants to keep democracy. It used to be both parties, now it's just Democrats.
Yeah. The fact that Jan 6 wasn’t the end of all this nonsense is terrifying. There are people (lots of them) for whom that was not a dealbreaker.
I just don’t get how that wasn’t a dealbreaker for people. How TF do they rationalize that?

All I can say is thank God.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:It all comes down to a numbers game and good or bad the election will come down to how well Americans understand math.
Violent crimes happen more than abortions either about 33% more violent crimes than abortions occurring every year in the United States.
If you look at overall crimes, there are 17 crimes committed for every abortion in the United States every year.
Defund the police and the occurrence of violent and non violent crimes continues to rise. Implement reasonable abortion restrictions and abortions continue to occur although the numbers will most likely decrease.
So for those that make data driven decisions it is an easy one to make.
This is not correct at all re: abortions. It’s the opposite in epic proportions. Abortions (medical term, NOT “elective”) are so common. This is what politicians don’t (want to) understand.
They are a normal part of a women’s lifetime, affecting 50% of pregnancies.
Yes, the medical term abortion applies to all pregnancies where, to nobody’s fault, a pregnancy could not go forward. It is highly likely that each woman, if she becomes pregnant a few times in her life, will need abortion care at some point. Not providing the best care available harms a woman’s fertility, her life, and the lives of future babies that could have been!
50%? That is worldwide. US is 25%.

Books that have been challenged or banned: Harry Potter, Hunger Games, To Kill a Mockingbird, 1984, of Mice and Men…

Illustrations of teens having sex for fun don't belong in the Elementary or Middle School. This is not "sex ed" like learning biology, and pretending that these most challenged books are tame just feeds into the narrative that left wingers are out of touch sex-for-children promoters.

Why do people say this? It’s so obviously partisan. I don’t want to ban any book. They can continue to be published, printed, and then every county library.
It is true, I do not want porno graphic content in ES/MS.
Book-banner denies being a book-banner.
Not to mention, why are these posters so gullible? Have they actually seen graphic sexual content in THEIR kids elementary school? No. Fox News or whoever just told them to freak out so they did.
They likely don't even have kids in elementary school.

Please show me any elementary school in VA that has any book containing "illustrations of teens having sex".
