BB & AP were having an affair
C found out about the affair; kicks them both out of the house.
C feels scared or unsafe by herself and has Joe come stay at house with her.
BB & AP plot the murders, knowing they were both going to be inside the house
Almost, yet the night before was B's birthday and (I live in the neighborhood and know this as fact) one of the neighbors was at the house to wish him happy birthday and everything seemed normal.

I wonder if AP was obsessed with BB and stabbed the wife while she was in bed to try and get her out of the picture- but didn’t kill her. Wife somehow alerts JR. He comes up to help. Batsh*t AP comes back up and shoots him too. BB arrives and they try to frame JR.
This theory makes so much sense especially after the recent AP arrest.
And how did she have access to a gun if BB was on his way to work which, in that case he would have his government issued weapon with him.
The problem I find with that, based on years of watching Dateline, is that a killer would rarely change weapons in that short of a time frame.

But why would AP let JR into the house?
Because he's a witness and knew what happened.
This theory does make sense.
But why would Christine call JR instead of 911?
Maybe she was on the phone with Joe when this went down. He came to her aid and she eliminated the witness.

Playing along with this theory, Christine was defenseless so a knife would work. Joe was much bigger and stronger so she needed a gun.
