Union parent off the top rope!
And them 2010s counter punch by smacking down both Union and VDA. If only we could get a hold of that 2010 FCV team again!!!!
And now 2010 Union wins 6-0 over VDA.
After VDA played 2 hours before against Bethesda and Union was fresh. See you in October.
From what I can tell VDA 10s just can’t get it done Vs Union 10s. Only Brave 10s have the right to that crown. #OctoberIsComing

Why bother with the games then? Season is a week away and you get blanked 4-0 and 6-0 to the two best teams in MD and VA respectively in your age group. I'm sorry but no one should be ok with that and chalk it down to preseason, 2 games in a day, its predictable and tired. Sounds like FCV excuses not VDA
+1

I would be asking a lot of questions of the coach.

I was surprised to see them get out scored 10-0, even against strong competition.
I was surprised to see the 10's and 11's not get on the scoresheet as well. Aren't they supposed to be two pretty strong groups?

There’s so much talent across the top 2011 girls teams. And yes, VA Union beat Bethesda 2-0 today but we’ve got it wrong that these kids should be competing against each other. The real competition is in CA and TX.
US Soccer development isn’t good. It isn’t good here, and it isn’t good in CA and TX. The last thing we need is a more “elite-er” team traveling around the country.
ECNL has nothing to do with US soccer development. ECNL rightly does what’s good for ECNL. Why would it be their concern what might be good for development of a single national team at the expense of their own mission?
What is their mission?
It’s not a mystery or surprise. To serve their member clubs and help them (the clubs) be successful. Everything they do is towards that purpose.
