Note the drop from 2019-20 to 2020-21.
Drop in funding. Drop in personnel.
Still way up over the decade.

However, AK has more violent crime, for sure. From a personal safety perspective, SF is safer than AK.
Actually property crime is still reported by anyone that wants to file an insurance claim. You need a police report. If you don’t want to file an insurance claim or contact the police then how much is that type of crime really costing anyone?
