episcopal is as prestigious as saes. wouldn’t expect much out of either. maybe a few more LAC’s from Episcopal that no one’s ever heard of

Lol. Yeah, schools like Harvard, Cornell, and Emory, and Vanderbilt, etc. just all terrible… 🙄
no ones gotten into harvard. lol. you’re just pulling this out of your ass at this point. sure a cornell and brown here and there, but the non hooked kids mostly all go to lower tier schools, maybe except a handful. last year 27 kids applied to berkeley and ucla and none got in, their deflated GPAs are doing them wonders.
Oops. They did at SAES not Episcopal. I was referring to SAES. My error.

This clearly lets you see why the big 3 are the big 3 so far. Others pale (SSFS, Maret, Bullis). Publics so far decent turnout better than tier 2 & 3 schools.

But my DC posted on one of them and I’m pretty sure DC and their friends did not think random adults would be looking at these pages and judging them. The kids do these pages for themselves and their friends. Not a bunch of creepy and desperate adults.
More specifically, it's creepy and desperate PUBLIC SCHOOLERS. The same losers who troll this sub-forum all day.

Please. Episcopal High School does not deflate GPAs. Definitely easy to earn an “A” at EHS.
you’re a moron. EHS doesnt grace by letter, but rather a number scale. Average GPA for applicants coming out of EHS was a weighted 3.8. Yes, the student body is not the brightest, but most students are challenged in their courses.

Lot of athletic recruits but I appreciate how they post it directly on the instagram page. It is helpful for future college applicants to see.
Also, interesting that Holton had good success with Michigan as on other threads parents from NCS/Sidwell/GDS were complaining that private school kids are at a disadvantage with public universities. Holton seems to have figured it out
Holton does weight honors and advanced classes. I don't know if this helps or if they just have decent CC.
My daughter's school does not weight and they get lots of kids into the UCs.
But Holton doesn’t offer AP. People were losing their sh*t about schools that don’t offer AP; they said students at these schools were at a disadvantage during college admissions because colleges don’t know anything about their advance level classes. Seems Holton has figured out how to get rid of APs and still make their kids attractive to top universities.
