This clearly lets you see why the big 3 are the big 3 so far. Others pale (SSFS, Maret, Bullis). Publics so far decent turnout better than tier 2 & 3 schools.

These aren't typical publics. They're competitive. Plus publics have 400 plus grads and privates have fewer..

I’m a private school parent and look at the pages. I think it’s interesting info, I sometimes learn about a college I hasn’t heard of, and it’s one of many data points related to admissions as we start to navigate this process as a family. I also find it exciting when my own alma mater pops up on the list! Nothing sinister about it.

Please. Episcopal High School does not deflate GPAs. Definitely easy to earn an “A” at EHS.

you’re a moron. EHS doesnt grace by letter, but rather a number scale. Average GPA for applicants coming out of EHS was a weighted 3.8. Yes, the student body is not the brightest, but most students are challenged in their courses.

I am actually not a moron. My child attends Episcopal and I am well aware of the grading scale and the rigor of the courses.

People were losing their sh*t about schools that don’t offer AP; they said students at these schools were at a disadvantage during college admissions because colleges don’t know anything about their advance level classes. Seems Holton has figured out how to get rid of APs and still make their kids attractive to top universities.

+1, these people are all creeps. i do think it’s okay to a certain extent to be following your kids’ schools instagram page, but anything else is just nosey and gross.
