It is amazing the people who look down on those they feel are less than them for taking a job they would never do. Yet they rely on those SERVICES and feel they don't need to tip them

I read the OP as learning really quick how to identify who hasn't left a tip. What is worse is those who use those apps like UberEats which allows you to adjust or even remove the tip up to an hour after delivery. Those people are basically thieves.

The other thing I saw in the OP is the importance of leaving a light on as a courtesy for your driver. Also having your house number clearly marked could be a matter of life or death.

1. Prices have gone up for everyone, not just non-tippers. Restaurants are trying to stay afloat.

2. Nobody shifty has come to house.

3. How hard is dropping off food? When someone messes up an order or gives me a wrong order, I eat the food they delivered and still get a full refund.

4. OP is the one complaining about not becoming a millionaire from DoorDash. Talk to them.

My old cab company pre Uber would require drivers to take one NT a day. No Tipper.

Back then they has like a CB radio thing and I could hear like Mr. Johnson on Park Ave ago did not pick up a NT yet and drivers would complain. You hear it all.

For the non tippers,

Don't complain when /your prices go up/shifty characters come to your house/ incompetent service.

These are the people who accept no tip.

I had a lazy Walmart+ shopper today who apparently decided none of the produce was in stock, so I waited until they finished all the shopping and cancelled the order, just to waste their time. Then I placed a new order (delivery window was only 4hrs later) and what a surprise all my items were in stock. Not sure if Walmart shows you the tip in advance, but that’s the first time I’ve ever experienced that. Still not going to start tipping!

If no tipping is a problem so well known that there is some mythical list of no tippers (lol) then WHY do people work this job? Seems like the sucker is the person choosing to hold out a cup and bed for change vs getting a job at a store.

I don’t understand the point of OP making this thread. They said people don’t tip, but that they also don’t deliver no tip orders…. So………. How does this affect your life then? Why are you so butthurt about non tippers, if you never deliver their orders? You seem really angry about something that doesn’t affect you.

I tip from the beginning. don’t most people? can’t you see what they have listed as a tip before you choose to do the work?

I tip a lot more on tiny orders, otherwise I figured nobody would offer to deliver.

Why aren't you grocery shopping for your elderly disabled parents? Most elderly disabled people have fixed incomes and having food delivered is a huge dent in their monthly expenses.

Because I work full time, commute 2 hrs a day, have kids including one with sn and I live hours away? Should they just need groceries when I have vacation time? And they tip well, they believe in it and can afford it. But bless your heart.
