I'm almost 47 and have never had a boyfriend and I've been kissed on the lips twice. Once was sexual harassment* and once was an unfortunate greeting by a senior citizen uncle. *When I reported the kiss to my boss the next day his response was "Why would he do that? I mean, why would he do that to YOU?" I was like wow I guess not only do men not like me but they can't even fathom ANYONE liking me.
STOP IT! If you want to find love, love will find you. Don't think like this another second.
And I saw a comment on another tiktok video, of a black woman, who is quite cute, lovely smile, she claims she is 35 and never had a boyfriend, another shocking unexpected case for a woman due to how women are the privileged gender for being on the receiving end of sexual attention, having men come to them.
Men will never have that luxury of women coming to them.

It's simply not worth it for them. Others I can tell are dealing with extreme insecurity and go on dates with really trash men, so obviously that doesn't lead to a successful relationship. Still others are way too picky, in the sense that they're asking for way more than what they themselves even have to offer - or just unrealistic expectations (i.e. ruling out men with children or divorced men, but they should be in their 40s...ok, then the men left will have something wrong with them most of the time..). Some of them had relationships in college/early 20s, but have been single since then. None of them want to discuss dating or relationships anymore.

Um thank you, but I feel I must let you know that incident happened when I was like 22 or 23. A friend of mine has said "every pot has a lid" which is a nice thing to think. But I've literally had homeless people tell me that I'm ugly. You'd think they're in no place to judge, but ...?

Untrue. There are many very pretty single women.
They must still be in their 20s.
A "very pretty" woman would be fending off suitors. There are always exceptions, but in 95% of the cases, a really pretty woman would be scooped up real quick.
In the dmv? Where you need a car to get anywhere? Where might these suitors be for a work from home person? At the chicfila? The costco where men keep their gaze to the ceiling and many are with kids? And no dog parks for me after a pit attacked my pup.
Good example of a woman who has social skills problems and might be single for a while.

Anonymous wrote:Weird. I think if I counted up all my time spent single--i.e., not in a serious monogamous relationship, since age 15, it would amount to about a year. I am 46.

I know everyone thought I was a spinster and a good friend said I was “just squeezing a marriage in under the wire” whatever that means - before 40 i guess.
Whatever, it worked for me. We are now together 13 years and have two kids, are really dedicated partners and i feel very lucky and treasure every day we are together. That’s just me though to each her own.
