It was awful, but there is a backstory and I'm actually more interested in accountability for the way the school handled what led to the situation. I'd like that much more than public shaming those involved. I'm so disappointed with the school and I can't wait to be done with it. Also let's hear it for the elementary school teachers who broke up a fight! Sheesh, I bet that wasn't on their 2023 bingo card.

I am also appalled, but - like you- so curious. What could possibly lead to this type of behavior? At an elementary school event, no less? It’s beyond strange.
I think the adults involved were guardians of the students involved in the incident in the outdoor lab. But, you know, rumors.
That is a big leap and assumption. (Not impossible, but certainly not the only thing people could have been fighting about.)

How do you know this?

"As a member of the community where kids go to Oakridge elementary I have heard there have been challenges—-and today at a 5th grade graduation there was a fight between parents.
Parents fighting at a graduation?
Anyone have any idea what happened? I’m worried about my neighbors.
Thanks"
