You have no choice
They are just doubling down on their lies, and people speaking up are few.

I know. What reasonable person WOULDN’T think he was just taking a tour in that environment. /s/
JFC dude.
Doesn’t matter. If an officer is escorting you around, it’s reasonable to think it’s all ok.
Uh, no, if you break into a building and a police officer follows you but does not tackle you, that doesn't make it okay.
Reasonable? Are you 10?
So you maintain the officer knew he broke the law and was simply following him, knowing there were cameras everywhere?
Maintain what? He was arrested, charged, and convicted. All without being tackled!
That's how our system works.
Again, if the evidence was withheld, no, it’s not how our system works. That video should have been handed to the defense by prosecution.
The videos that Carlson showed were shown to the defense and the prosecution. He didn't put up new stuff - he hasn't gone through 44,000 hours of videos to find any gotcha stuff because that's a tremendous amount of footage and the gotcha footage has already been by the J6 committee.
That is just outright false.
The only video that defense counsel had was the video the DOJ allowed them to have. And, much of what Carlson aired was NOT included in that.
According to reports, Pelosi gave 14,000 hours to DOJ. 44,000 hours was given to Carlson. The DOJ was responsible for any exculpatory evidence--i.e. the defense could only get videos from DOJ. Now, that McCarthy has released all videos to Carlson, perhaps the defendants can have access to it, since it is now in teh public.

The prosecution, with their many, many lawyers, knew that video existed and deliberately withheld it from defense.
What is your evidence that anything relevant was withheld?
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:This is all about exposing the security apparatus in the US Capitol to our adversaries. Those of you getting upset about this need to remember, Kevin MCCarthy ONLY gave this footage to Tucker Carlson, not to all media outlets writ large.
And, Tucker Carlson, like other Fox "News" hosts, are entertainment and not news. They all admitted they KNEW the election was fair and they KNEW what they were doing in terms of suggesting the insurrection was legitimate.
And yet, here you are believing them and their on camera persona and not the texts disclosed in court where they were literally laughing at how stupid and gullible their viewers were (and apparently, are)
Bullcrap.
The team that reviewed this video consulted with Capitol Police about the footage they planned to air. They only had a few, reasonable issues.
In the end, they blurred a door entrance in the released footage.
In other words..... the footage that was aired was approved by the police charged with protecting the Capitol.
