3 classes for Pre-k; about 50/grade by middle school. I think it’s perfect in size. Big enough but not too big.

I long for the days of caring and impressive St Pats teachers. There will always be some disappointments along the way, would be the same at any school. I loved the community and made lifelong friends. It can get tricky, as someone else pointed out, it’s NW DC - it comes with the territory, literally. The weekly chapel was very open and inclusive and one of the best parts …. When your kids are older, you will long for 20 minutes a week with them sitting on your lap. It’s very special.

They will find a great person to replace him. That what is supposed to happen, precious snowflakes. The school doesn’t own him.
That’s the problem they won’t. We have been at the school for multiple kids and years. They have done a poor job in hiring in that department in the past. The last hire has been a PE teacher who coaches more at the school she came from. They need to hold onto Mr. Brophy. 😱😱😱
I don’t have romantic crushes on all the PE teachers so I don’t remember all their names, but I’ve had a kid at St. Ps for ages too, and my child has had several great PE teachers, inclusive of Mr. Brophy. He was there before the pandemic which is why I remember his name.
If you have haven’t been happy with them, hire a personal trainer for your kid. They are all over the place.
