Enrolling at Beauvoir.
WL at SFS and GDS but will not stay on.
How did you get into Beauvoir for K? We were waitlisted.
They only have about 20 spots each year. I bet most go to subs and affiliations.

I hope you are happier than we are. We were excited for our DD to go, but were very disappointed when she got there.
Why were you disappointed?
She had two very week teachers; we found that unacceptable. On a positive note, many of the families were very welcoming.

Smart to have applied to so many schools.
Unless you have a major hook, you better apply to a wide variety.
That's probably good advice.
But it's also true that at some schools it's quite important that you make it clear (credibly) that they are your number one choice and that if accepted your DC will attend.
If they sense or know you are casting a wide net and that their chances of getting your DC to enroll if accepted are unknown, they will weigh that in their decision.
So casting a wide net is a two-edged sword.

They are basically of the same caliber. One is just cheaper.
