100% this. All of it. The Board has their head in the sand and they'll be scrambling to figure out what do when half the faculty up and leaves.

I would have you look at both. SR Class of 2023 matriculations are phenomenal

I think this is the same group of posters that were mad last year about the DEI being omitted from contracts.
I think this is the same crisis communications firm that was hired last year to minimize legitimate concerns about the school's leadership and get threads shut down.
Anyone else would concede that the departure of the long-tenured and well-respected heads of the lower, middle and upper schools in one year is, at the very least, a valid topic of conversation and possible source of concern.
You're the only bringing up DEI, which you have now done a couple of times, in a seeming attempt to change the subject.
Not at all. I have no affiliation with Holton whatsoever except that these posts are pretty damaging and hateful about this woman and they seem to have a similar tone as the ones last spring that is all. I am not a pr firm.
But you care more about this opportunist hurting the school rather than the staff who have clearly been the victims of abuse and retaliation.
Those are very strong accusations. I would have to actually have specific incidents of abuse. Is being rude abuse or is being short or temperamental abuse? I do not think so. I have yet to hear one example of actual abuse which is a serious accusation that is all. [i][u]

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:The main job for the HOS of Holton is to raise money, right? I'm curious to know how much she has raised in contrast to how much she has cost:
1. A whole new administrator salary for an associate head because she doesn't want to deal with the day to day of running the school.
2. Crisis communication costs.
3. The full time salary of whoever has to spin each faculty/staff departure.
4. High end retreats
Don’t forget…
5. A brand new house, entirely renovated and decorated on tuition dollars. (And a rumored six-figures lost when she fired the first decorator.) Fac/staff and students are hosted in the backyard. Board and select donors allowed indoors. Instagram provides some decent snapshots of events hosted pre and post PBE that reflect her penchant for investing in appearances and VIPs. #CheckReceipts
Not to mention it’s a house she doesn’t live in very often. Try to schedule an in-person meeting with her on Fridays/Mondays. She’s never there, but in Richmond at her other home.
