Remedy - Push your coach to be involved year round or take your kid to another school. You’re not mad at the coaches that are committed. You are mad at your coach for not having the same level of commitment.
Tryouts start tomorrow. Let’s play.
Pretty easy to say “we abide by the rules” when there’s no league enforcement of any rules and no school oversight to ensure they’re being followed. No one’s keeping anyone honest. If you don’t see that to be a problem, you’re part of the problem.
Trying to figure out this whole “no school oversight” comment. Are you aware of an AD at a school that isn’t doing their job?
Is your AD tracking how much time you’re spending at practice with your team each week off season? Do you submit a time sheet to your AD showing the number of hours you’re spending each week off season? Is your AD independently monitoring to make sure there isn’t any creative time keeping happening each week off season? Didn’t think so.
You seem overly invested in this. Not healthy and one would think you would have betting things to focus on in your life but maybe this is all you've got at this point...?
