How do you have Columbia in 1B but not Duke or Penn?
Why do you even care about one person's subjective bullcrap.
It'll make it looking more serious with weighted combined ranking from US News 40% , WSJ/THE 20%, Niche 20% , Forbe 20%
US News shouldn't be 40%. If you like US News that much just use it alone instead of creating a headache for yourself, otherwise what you're doing is shuffling US News a bit for your own liking by keeping it 40%. Tiers are more sensible anyways. For what it's worth, my tiers would be (based strongly on the balanced usage of rankings):
1A) MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Harvard, Yale
1B) Caltech, Duke, Penn, Columbia, Northwestern
2A) Dartmouth, Brown, UChicago, Cornell, Williams, Amherst, Pomona

Whoops meant to reply to this one. Vanderbilt should be 2B otherwise looks solid.

I can live with that. Very fair. We should have consensus around this, generally.
