Still no good answers about why local and state officials delayed issuing an evacuation order
Maybe this will help you with those answers.......
No, it doesn't. BTW get better sources. Xtina got her taxpayer funded job because she was good at being an online troll. She's never been there to actually provide information to the public.
If it doesn't help you then I can only assume you are not capable of reading......
"Mon, 2pm Lee County was still only under a Tropical Storm Watch. At 5:29pm Lee County went from TS Watch to TS Warning. NWS focus was still Tampa area. It wasn’t until 5:29am Tue that Lee went from TS Warning to Hurricane Warning."

They were in the cone of uncertainty for a couple of days before the storm actually hit. Their actual storm preparedness manual said to evacuate people days before, they just didn't follow it.

Reversal of fortune:
I wonder what happens to them when conservatives feel like the cleanup is finished and they no longer need help. I hope they get called out for their hypocrisy, but that’ll probably just make them be meaner to anyone they feel shouldn’t be in the US (liberals, people who don’t look like real Americans, etc).

Their relief efforts were put on hold as Governor Ron DeSantis toured the area, frustrating people ferrying supplies back and forth.
"I don't give a rat's ass," one woman yelled.
"Personally, I want you to go over there," one state trooper told Nelson. "I want you to get as much supplies to help these people out."
"So, legally, why can I not?" Nelson asked.
"Our hands are tied," the trooper said.
"I'm not trying to be rude," Nelson told him. "But, we've been doing this very thing one street over, and the only reason we are not over there..."
"Is because the governor's coming...I understand," the trooper responded.
"So, why does that have to stop right now? It's the same thing we've been doing before anyone was here."

I think it is amusing that FL now has to IMPORT migrants to help clean up! https://www.thedailybeast.com/irony-meter-explodes-as-migrants-lured-to-florida-for-hurricane-ian-cleanup
