18 months prior to Woodward opening, MCPS will let everyone know what they've decided the plan will be, and some poor suckers will sit through a panel, wasting their time making suggestions and recommendations, that MCPS and the BOE will likely ignore, 100% doing what they wanted to do in the first place.

WJ, Wheaton, and Einstein. That's it.
and BCC which is also adjacent
If the intent was to include BCC along with WJ and the DCC to populate Woodward, why would the plans never mention BCC? It wouldn’t need to be some kind of deep state secret.
The plans DID mention BCC at one point, and BCC parents had a hissy fit (see the Lyttonsville Master Plan or Sector Plan, I forget). BCC was then removed.
This is completely misleading information. Master/Sector plans are land use documents done by the Planning Department - they have no power in school assignment plans.
BCC was also part of the DCC originally but the parents also had a hissy fit then and got them removed.
That also has nothing to do with Woodward.
BCC's boundary is adjacent to Woodward and will be part of the boundary shuffling that happens to populate that school and make room for others.
Makes sense that schools who are adjacent to Woodward will be affected but the question is if the BCC parents still have the clout to weasel out of this like everything else.
Woodward doesn't have boundaries yet, so it has no adjacencies. All we have to go on is the CIP, linked earlier, which states that Woodward will be a solution for WJ and DCC schools.
It is located between WJ, Wheaton, BCC, and Einstein. Clearly these schools will be impacted unless maybe some parents with clout are able to once again buy their way out of doing their share.
The Troll is strong in this one!
If by posting factual statements that makes sense sure...
"Clearly these schools will be impacted..." is your opinion/guess, not a fact.
Sure, it's also my opinion that it will snow sometime next winter. Both are equally likely outcomes.
The BoE already said Woodward is to relieve overcrowding at WJ and in the DCC (with Northwood in the DCC also getting larger). Why would the BoE want to kick the hornet's nest and add BCC to the study?
So you think they'll bus kids across county? Doubtful! They'll make room at the schools adjacent to Woodward and then replace them with kids from overcrowded schools.

See the post above yoursSince BCC doesn’t need to have overcrowding relieved, it makes no sense to move BCC feeders to Woodward instead of the closer Einstein and Wheaton feeders.
True, but schools adjacent to it do so it will likely play its part.
