Oh goodness. Our 'china' is as vintage as I am. LOL.
China: Noritake
Burgundy (even though it's a 'blue' pattern and chosen to go with the '50s
Libbey Silver Foliage glassware we 'inherited' from spouse's side of the family).

Glassware: the utterly mass-produced Cristal D'Argues Longchamps (that's seen in a lot of 90s movies and TV shows because it 'looks' expensive-ish and is virtually indestructible) or Oneida's Simplicity line

Our current rule is I will only handwash either the china or the glassware (so we rarely 'pair' the first two together). 'Something' nice(r than our Corelle everyday stuff) will get used at least once a month for a birthday, celebration, or holiday.
And, since we're a dry household (at the moment) having all the different stem- and bar-ware is a bit of a waste. But I still absolutely love our Simplicity Martini glasses, for a Manhattan, of course. Big, properly proportioned, thin, but not too thin, and dishwasher safe. Oh to be young again.....
