Oh yes this is the leftists’ fault. Make it make sense.

Why is Youngkin in office?

Because he successfully scared suburban white women. Its as simple as that.

If you’re a suburban t white women in VA who voted for Youngkin, don’t come to DC for your or your daughter’s abortion. STick to your principles.

That’s right. Only worthy women are entitled to control their reproduction: rape victims, incest victims, and Dem voters. Nice principles you got there.

DP. Are you kidding me? You vote against abortion rights for others because you know that if you or someone you care about ever needs one, you have the resources to send them to DC? What kind of craven jackass are you?

DP. No one voted against abortion. It was not on the ballot.

Yes, it was. Youngkin was caught on camera saying he wanted to go after abortion after he was elected, and everyone knew it. You don’t get to pretend abortion wasn’t an election issue just because the word wasn’t literally printed on the ballot.

Last fall, RvW was settled law. No matter what Youngkin wanted or said.

RvW was settled law. Now it's not.

Don't be unreasonably obtuse. Trump ran in 2016 saying that he was going to nominate right wing SC judges who would overturn RvW, he even made a list of names pubic before the election. he nominated three as we all know and it was clear (lies during confirmation notwithstanding) that they were going for it and with a super majority of 6-3 even Roberts could not do much to moderate. If RvW was overturned, decisions would go back to the states. Youngkin said he was going to go against abortion if elected. so only people with an IQ of 10, or people who have never read a newspaper or seen a news broadcast in their lives can say that they are so surprised now they could have never imagined that abortion would have been an issue in Virginia if Youngkin was elected.

Hope your daughter doesn’t die of an illegal abortion someday.

She got caught up in the “Openfcps” cult and then double downed into the Youngkin would make schools better lie.

She is a giant moron if she thinks she can just go to DC for abortion care- DC residents have zero rights (the Dobbs decisions to return this decision to our elected representatives does not apply to us because it has nothing to do with elected representatives, just "states"). The minute republicans have a majority in the house they will ban abortion in DC. Even democrats are fine with using DC residents as a pawn in the ridiculous abortion fight- see Obama agreeing to keep the ban on DC using its OWN tax dollars in some omnibus bill to get something else he wanted.

So she’ll drive the extra 10 minutes to Maryland

You don’t understand clearly that abortion is healthcare and that there are cases where you cannot easily travel. A miscarriage starts but the fetus is not expelled snd there still is heartbeat so no abortion is done and doctors tell your daughter she has to wait, even though she is in pain. By the time she travels out of state she has developed an infection and dies. There are cases happening now, look at the lady in Texas that had waters break at 16 weeks, nothing can be done to save the fetus but hospital refused to do an abortion and told her to go home and wait until the discharge turned yellow with foul smell. She and her husband considered flying to Colorado, then she went back to the hospital the day after in pain and the discharge had developed a bad smell and finally the hospital authorized the doctors to proceed. Basically she risked her life.

And all this to reopen schools that were going to be reopen anyway as they did in DC?

Someone should make a uterine infection smell spray so women don’t have to wait as long.

Then you are dumb as a rock. My kids go to DCPS, where in school the entire school year that just finished, and masks mandate was removed a while ago. And I did not need to vote for somebody like Youngkin. After vaccines became widely available (and better treatments and our understanding of the Virus) it was clear school closings were over.

unfortunately no one in northern va cares.

If they ban it in DC or even MD eventually, most here have the ability to travel further or even to another country. This ban will only impact the poor - which was the point. Politicians' wives, mistresses and daughters will all still have access to safe abortions where it is legal.

🤦

I hope you’re done having kids and didn’t have any pregnancy complications.

It was just rhetoric, DC did all the same stuff on a similar schedule

But sure, get abortion banned in your state so that you can feel like you stuck it to those lazy teachers!

Exactly the same for me. I don’t regret it at all.

Where in the DMV are kids still masked at school? DC dropped masks months ago. Were kids in VA not in school before Younkin was elected? Wasn't he just elected last November- seems super late if VA school were still closed then.
