I guess I've realized I'm trashy reading this thread. Drinking diet Cokes and going to Ocean City is trashy? When I think of trashy people they litter, loudly threaten to beat their kids, swear, and have tattoos that they claim say certain phrases in a language they don't speak.

You know there is a difference between real wasabi made out of rhizome and is thick and pasty while fake wasabi is puréed from horseradish.

I suspect a lot of the wasabi in sushi from Japanese Maki bars are fake since wasabi plants that are native to Japan are among the most expensive in the world.

I've always lived in Prince George's County.

I love McDonald's fries & quarter pounders.

I use scented dryer sheets and body sprays.

I married at 23 and had my twins at 24.

I put Chik-Fil-A honey sriracha sauce on everything.

I had a pit bull mix (he has passed - best dog ever).

DP. The trashy part is dining at the kind of restaurant that serves super-sized portions in the first place. I say that affectionately as I love me some Cheesecake Factory once or twice a year.

I drive with my windows open which I learned from DCUM is trashy (?). I have a clothesline and hang my laundry (ok - not the underwear).

One time we were driving across the Canadian border back to the States. They stop you at the border and won’t allow agricultural products across the border. My mom had just bought a bag of oranges and she made us pull to the side and eat them all so they would not be thrown out.

I got strip searched because I lived on a farm and there were alfalfa seeds on the dashboard. I actually don't remember if the border was Mexico or Canada.

I also got strip searched when I was 20-ish in college, hitchhiking over a major holiday with a friend, and accidentally pulled out a baggie with maybe a gram's worth of pot (it was the END of the major holiday!) in a small town pizza restaurant booth without realizing it, and the restaurant called the cops.

So does having been strip searched TWICE make me trashy? (never charged though)

I went there ONCE for a work lunch, and my ass revolted an hour later. Never again.

My parents would buy a package of weiners, some apples, some of those packaged grocery store sweet rolls, and a quart of chocolate milk and pass these around the car for sustenance.

I do as well (although I have reduced use of produce bags a lot, only things that really need to be bagged, they'll get washed anyway) and I consider it environmentally responsible. I stash them in an old net orange bag and use my roll of poop bags until it's full, then switch to the bread bags until that stash is empty, repeat.

I loved mandatory masking and working form home because I never had to wear my partial denture.


I did have an eye appt during that time, and while waiting for the optometrist in the exam room his assistant, a woman my age, asked me to pull down my mask. I hesitated and she urged me to go ahead, laughing. She pulled hers down too, and no partial in her mouth either!

I dont wear name brand or any "real" jewelry.
I look at unit price when I shop and like to save money here and there.
My kids go to public school and I'm proud of that.

My 23 year old son received a DNA kit for his birthday and he just send his kit to be tested. Please pray that dh is the dad. Dh and I were separated for six months.🙄🙄
