“Everyone I disagree with is a jealous public school parent” is an incorrect worldview. But dealing with private school parents on a daily basis, I’d expect nothing less.
Well, living in DC for a few decades I have to say I have never heard the subject " what I can't stand about Public School parents" come up in convo among Private school parents.
In other words.....if there is shade being thrown I have never heard Private school parents be the ones casting it.
Now, they might talk about Wilson kids being very poorly behaved at Tennley, or thinking classes are too crowded, or complain about metal detectors and violence, but they don't talk about " those darn public school parents"

fwiw, the DC DMED a few years ago had his kids in Private School.... maybe go ask him ?

Is this true? Either way, I don't know if this is anything to get upset over. A "few" out of 500 students... so, <1% odds? And that's not even factoring in how prepared academically (and socially) the lucky few are once they land at an Ivy. I'd honestly rather have my child end up at Michigan or Boston College prepared to hit the ground running than Penn where they're immediately in over their head.
