When we eat out, it will be in Virginia, just 5 minutes away. We might even move there. It is no wonder Northern Virginia keeps winning businesses away from MoCo.

Looks like I’m heading to Frederick for shopping and restaurants. What is wrong with our politicians?

That article is nearly a month old. I highly doubt a vaccine passport will pass.
Was in the news yesterday. Very much still under consideration and very likely to pass, IMO. Though, I am opposed.

Business owners aren't behind the mandate because it isn't regional and patrons won't have to travel far to avoid it. The council also plans to have community input and we all know how that will go. As it is proposed, the mandate will not pass.
You would think! But how did it manage to pass in DC?
There was an info meeting about the DC vaccine passport yesterday. They said it’ll continue even when the weather warms up. And that businesses have to check for the card every time a person enters (versus just allowing some ‘regulars’ to show the card once and move on).

• Effective March 1: proof of all doses (excluding boosters) required for patrons 5 years-and-one month and older.
It would mean kids included, starting March 1.
Then what, boosters required starting November 1 for kids age 5-11?
This is pure insanity. The shot is still EUA for kids age 5-11. And MoCo wants to pass a vaccine passport for them?
This is certifiably insane given the profile of this disease top to bottom.
This area has gone insane.
I got a notice from my kid’s elementary school saying I need to send proof of vaccine in to my kid’s home room teacher.
