100k as a social worker - for 25 years.

I'm surprised at all the professor salaries that claim to be so high. I'm a tenured professor and make $80k/year.

Just came to post essential this exactly. This doesn’t include pretty generous benefits ( free tuition for kids, for example at school of my choice) or side consulting which was probably $10-15k this year.

“How much do you earn from working”…that just rolls off the tongue weirdly. Why didn’t you just say “what is salary?”. This post is phrased in the way that sounds as though it’s odd a woman would be in the workforce.
