WTAF?!
Given that most DEI means: hire more black people no matter what, discriminate against white people so black people can catch up, and include everyone but white males, I agree that DEI should be flushed down the toilet.

I have long considered myself a leftwinger but when gay muslim bipoc studies overtakes actual learning, we have a breakdown of the fundamental purpose of schools.
is there an actual course or book in school about gay muslim bipoc studies? My gay Asian HS student is studying the three branches of government in her APS history and has never studied anything about gay or Muslim people in school.

He won't be able to fulfill most of his promises.
This is at the core.
He really did run a brilliant campaign, but it's the same campaign that all GOP's do... scare the ever loving life out of our constituents, SSI they think their precious way of life is under assault.
CRT was NEVER going to be an issue in public schools because it's only offered in college, but he terrified parents with CRT, and they fell for it.
He won't be fulfilling 90% of what he promised because he's going to play it so safe.
So don't worry Virginians, your marijuana, abortion, oh and schools free of all CRT are safe. 👍🏻
CRT has been an issue in schools for several years unfortunately. Many parents just found out about it during virtual learning.

Anonymous wrote:Not at all. His rhetoric about CRT and school curriculum told me that he's a liar as well as clueless, but will exploit the cultural divide in this state.
1. CRT is not being taught, never has been.
2. He has zero role over curriculum, let alone books, despite his saying that he does. He doesn't. Everyone knows that.
3. Parents are not expected to write curriculum. Nor are they able to ban books.
4. He ran on this false gasoline to entice the right wing crowd. Why, after all the progress Virginia made, would women vote this opportunist in?
