Placing mediocre players at mediocre or poor programs isn’t going to cause any coach to lose their job. Plus coaches recruit badly all the time - doesn’t get them fired. Look at where these kids are committed.

Who is the new Langley coach?

This conversation is ridiculous. SR, Visi and SSSAS all lost many great seniors last year. All 3 teams will look very different this year. It should be a year of great competition. I am not a Saints parent, but they have many solid players and a great coach. People should all just mellow out and wait for the season.

Many of those commitments were only the result of KJ’s long standing relationships and sign of her remaining power in lacrosse world.

Then you absolutely don't know lacrosse to make that statement. You could have plugged in a 5 year child as head coach and they still would have produced the same record. And, good luck with the new coach over there as she is a train wreck and will last no more than 2 years. Have fun with that...

Agreed. Similar to Dad coach at PVI. Need someone that has played the game at a high level and understands the small details that make good teams great. Preferably a female.

I think VISI has 2 D1s. Denver midfielder and Michigan Defender. Maybe a couple D3s.

Eh, I think even Saints people would admit they are going to be weak this year and likely the next 1-2 as well. Their current classes - ‘22, ‘23, ‘24 & ‘25 have very few dominant players. Their ‘26s though, if they all stay, should revive the program. But it’s going to be a few down years first even with best coach in ISL.

Visi has 1 D1 committ between junior and senior classes - and not without trying for more, and a new coach who is a total toss-up, so you predict how they are going to do.

OTOH, SR has at least enough D1 committs for a first string and one of the two best ‘25 classes in area as well as a strong coach who knows all her girls well.

Given the reports that SSAS pulled 8th graders for the National Indoor Championship @ Spooky Neck, I wouldn't take much away from SJC "keeping it close" the following week.
