Good points but a key question is will both accept being less relevant and be able to shift focus to family life vs. always chasing the awards etc. He seems more willing to live a lower-key life than she, but she does seem madly in love with him so maybe(?)
She's a notoriously hard worker and is self-focused by the nature of her professional identity (entertainer/diva). If he stays busy too, they might be okay for a while but trouble will brew when he's less busy, gets bored, and she's not around to give him the attention and admiration he needs. And vice versa of course, but she seems the busier of the two.

Why would they have to ‘shift’ towards family life? All their kids are teens. If anything more independent than ever. This is a fine time to do whatever they want although both are practically retired in their respective fields anyway.

I think 2-5 years, depending on how long he can stay sober / not cheat. I think they could make it closer to 5, but not much beyond that. I'm sure she thinks she's special and he won't treat her like he did the last time, along with every other woman since.
I think it will be around 5, my husband thinks around 2.

Clearly you missed the news. It’s a marriage now.
