However the USA did not care, as long as the shah bent the knee to the USA and uk, and did as told.
From 1980-1988, the USA provided weapons, intelligence, and money to saddam Hassan to fight America’s proxy war against the Iranians. Millions of Iranians were killed with weapons and ammo made in the USA.
In 1988, the us navy shot down an Iranian civilian aircraft, all 266 plus passengers were killed.
June 2025, USA bomb Iran. Iran does not retaliate, but its citizens have been murdered by Israel and the USA.
February 2026, US and Israel bomb Iran and Iran decides to defend itself. Thousands have died in this latest bombing, and more continues to suffer. The USA is shocked that the smaller country decided to stand up to the bully, knowing that in the end it may still lose.
